The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (PDFNJ) honors WWOR-TV/MY9 with the 2009 Thomas Edison Communications Award for their support of Public Service Media Campaigns.

 Audrey Pass, Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs of WNYW/FOX 5 and WWOR-TV/My9 (Center) accepts the 2009 Thomas Edison Communications Award from Angelo M. Valente, Executive Director of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey. Also participating in the award presentation are (Left to Right) Steve Cline, Deputy Director Field Operations of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America; Joe Silvestri, Producer of WNYW/FOX 5 and Lew Leone, Vice President and General Manager of WNYW/FOX 5 and WWOR-TV/My9.
