Where did the most deaths from drug overdoses occur in Monmouth County last year? The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office released this map Tuesday on Facebook, showing where the most drug overdose deaths occurred.

There were 163 drug overdose deaths in 2016. Using their own data, as well as numbers from the New Jersey State Police, Regional Operations and Intelligence Center (ROIC), the prosecutor's office created these heat-density maps to detail the locations of drug overdose deaths in Monmouth County.

The brighter the color of the location on the map represents more deaths in that area, the prosecutor's office said.
