A recent high school graduate wants students to understand the terrible price of addiction before they lose everything including their lives, like her father did.
"I felt like I needed to say goodbye to get some closure at least," Willow Goldberg of Shelburne said as her voice trembled and broke describing her visit to the hospital the day she learned her father died.
"He had bruises on his arms and his skin was grey. And I didn’t want to think it was true, but when I saw him I knew it was," Goldberg, an honors graduate from Champlain Valley Union High School said.
