Over the last several months states and counties  throughout the country have begun to receive opioid settlement funds from companies that made, sold, or distributed opioid painkillers, like Johnson & Johnson, AmerisourceBergen, and Walmart. 

These results can be linked to litigation brought by families, many of whom lost a loved one to the opioid epidemic.

It's crucial that all of these funds are dedicated to support families and individuals who  continue to be affected, as well as prevention efforts to keep more families from experiencing the dangers of opioid dependency.

Fed Up! is a national advocacy group that's been at the forefront of identifying those responsible for creating this national nightmare. Fed Up! launched a campaign in April at the National Rx Summit calling for 100% of all settlement funds to support treatment, prevention, and compensating families directly impacted.

This is an urgent message we need to send to our governor and legislators.
