PDFNJ Cited as One of the Most Trusted Sources for Opioid Education

A recent statewide survey conducted by Fairleigh Dickenson University Poll, cited the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (PDFNJ) as one of the most trusted resources for information about opioid addiction and education, second only to their physician.

Since 1994, the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey has strived to provide New Jersey residents with information and current trends to help families address the ever-changing landscape of illicit substance use.

We have created award-winning public service messages, educated parents and caregivers, and engaged school children throughout the state with our school-based initiatives.  Our Knock Out Opioid Abuse Learning Series has educated hundreds of thousands of Garden State residents about the links between prescribed opioids, addiction and overdoses. Our workplace program has assisted thousands of businesses to establish and maintain drug prevention policies, and our prescriber education has educated thousands of healthcare professionals on the opioid epidemic and safe prescribing.

All of these efforts have been and continue to be available free of charge as a result of the support of the Partnership’s Board of Trustees and supporters. While we always believed that we were making a difference, we are so pleased to report that residents throughout New Jersey agree.
