There is still time to get involved.  Here are some easy things you can do:

1. Register for the Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day Learning Series Webinar at 11 a.m. tomorrow to learn more about the current state of the opioid epidemic in New Jersey.  Featured speakers include Dr. Andrew Kolodny, Medical Director at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management and John Butler, Policy Advisor in the Office of the New Jersey Governor.

2. Share this blog. Forward this blog to your family, friends and those in your community to help raise awareness of Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day today.

3. Visit the Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day Toolkit to share a message on social media and help spread these important messages with your community.

4. Take inventory of the medications in your medicine cabinet and properly dispose of expired medications. Find a disposal drop box near you by visiting americanmedicinechest.com.
